I know, right! Showing us that the relationship is over before showing anything else about the relationship is a surefire way to get us to not care about it.

I think one of the main problems with this season (or what I’ve watched of it thus far) is that none of the conflict is satisfying

We have the Amelia/Sam storyline which we already more or less no the ending of

Then we have the interwinchester angst that could EASILY BE SOLVED BY COMMUNICATION

Like most of the time when there is conflict between the two it’s because they both have different views on something

But literally the conflict this season could be easily solved by just sitting down and saying “when you do this it makes me feel this.”

I swear, in regards to inter-character communication Supernatural is sometimes worse than the Wheel of Time (and that’s saying something!)

The season does get better though!

I’m glad. There’s also some hilariously bad editing going on, like the clearly photoshpped in “Welcome to Louisiana” sign
